Scar Tissue - the first mmorable song from the album Californication. The peppers have played this song during every concert since it was released. It includes the 63rd best solo according to GuitarWorld. The song also won the award for Best Rock Song in the 2000 grammy awards. The song was most probably written to celebrate the return of John Frusciante who left the band in 1993 due to a heroin addiction, and returned for the Californication album. As this is one of their most powerful songs it was chosen as the name for the autoiography of Anthony Kiedis.
