I really doubt that I am the only person on this planet that can say that 90's hip hop was way better than anything that would hit the top of the charts nowadays. This song actually does resemble how hip hop and the artists behind it have changed over the years. Puff Daddy went on and changed his stage name to P. Diddy and became confident enough to decide and make a show similar to American Idot or X-Factor that he would manage himself and decide who has what it takes to be a hip hop star and who doesn't. It is too sad that I have not seen a single creation from any of the winners that can compare to this song for example. I am really not sure that I should even mention R. Kelly and his sex tape scandal as it is really not relevant, but it does indeed bring out his true nature and the direction his life has turned to. Anyway the song climbed up to number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1999 and it deserved it's position even if the main beat of the song was "borrowed" from Luniz's I Got 5 On It hit that had also borrowed the same beat before, but they did indeed manage to make the song a single and it deserved the attention it got back then. And about the music video, it is unfortunately a part of life that most people tend to experience during their lifetime since the human race does not understand moral as good as they should, in fact we tend to act like simple animals most of the time. After this longer than average post I would just like to remind you that there is a song you should listen to in this post and it is way above these last few words that are quite pointless to read, but since you've made it to the end I would just like to wish you happy listening!
